Not surprisingly, nine of the 39 (23%) currently active NASA astronauts attended a US service academy. The rest are from a wide variety of colleges, though, and include only 10% from the MC25. If you’ve got the right stuff, it appears you’ve got an equal chance at being an astronaut regardless of where you attended college.
